Local Events and Celebrations
--Christmas Dec. 25th!
Some information about this area. Children may appear in front of your home carring a decorated christmas tree branch,
they will sing you a carol or two blessing you and you give them a peso or so each for a christmas blessing (or not, for a
curse).
--5th of May - Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico's victory over the French occupational forces of Napoleon III at the
Battle of Puebla.
--Every Thursday Night 8:30 p.m. enjoy a Spanish Guitar Concert on the Bay (Bahia). Join us at the "Fisherman casting
his net" Statute.
--Jan. 6th - Three Kings Day
--Jan. 12th - Guadalupe National Holiday
